BASIC RIDER CONTROLS
Handling the board is quite easy in theory, only the MOUSE together with the SPACE-key is needed.
Mouse X-Axis: Move mouse left<>right for turns. More intense moves mean a more aggressiv turning. |
Edgepressure: Press & hold LMB to build up 'edge-pressure(EDGP)'. Forcing the board's velocity-direction towards the nose-direction by the help of anisotropic-friction . Release LMB to reset edgepressure.
Note: Applying timed & controlled impulses of EDGP can trigger a 'vitelli-turn'. |
Brake: Press & hold RMB to reduce the rider's speed by leaning in opposite to velocity-direction. Brake-effect depends on speed & terrain-type.
Note: When rider's speed goes zero for more than five seconds, the freeride-run is over.
